Membership

The members of the LAAC are dedicated women committed to living out the Sorority’s mission of sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action. Representing diverse professions, talents, and experiences, we are united by a shared passion for making a positive impact in the Lufkin community and beyond. Through leadership, volunteerism, and advocacy, our members work together to uplift, empower, and inspire those we serve.

Chapter Meetings

LAAC meets on the second Saturday of each month from September to May at 10:00 a.m. Meetings are held at 410 Scarborough St, Lufkin, TX 75904. Any changes to meeting dates or locations will be communicated to chapter members in advance.

Executive Board Meetings

Executive Board hybrid meetings are conducted on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 p.m.

Visiting Sorors

Chapter Meetings are open to duly initiated members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. who are not on disciplinary action. In order to attend chapter meetings, a visiting Soror must submit the verification form below at least 72 hours before the meeting. After the verification process is complete you will receive an email about joining the meeting.
